ABSOLUTE CONTROL AT EVERY SPEED
Through the Trolling Control, fine adjustments can be made very easily - in steps of 50 rpm.
Accurate slow-speed control is just as important as accurate high-speed handling, especially when fishing. The optional Trolling Control adjusts speed in 50 rpm increments, making the BF40 and BF50 the ideal outboards for fishing.

Four lines of defense
Strong corrosion protection is achieved with four lines of defense. First the aluminum casing is anodised with the patented 'Double Sealing' process. An epoxy primer is then applied, before the glossy silver paint. For further protection from UV rays, a clear resin coating is then applied for finishing. Final touches, for absolute protection, are the placement of anode and waterproof plugs.
