The particularly elegant design of Honda outboard motors is completed with the aqua marine silver finish, which makes them catch all eyes by uniquely reflecting the colors of the environment.

Functional design
The BF80 and BF100 outboards are extremely thin for four-cylinder four-strokes. Their removable cover artfully hugs the engine and all operating components, providing excellent protection for the outboard motor. Their hydrodynamic gearbox has a particularly low resistance which facilitates use and optimizes fuel economy.

Four lines of defense
Strong corrosion protection is achieved with four lines of defense. First the aluminum casing is anodised with the patented 'Double Sealing' process. An epoxy primer is then applied, before the glossy silver paint. For further protection from UV rays, a clear resin coating is then applied for finishing. Final touches, for absolute protection, are the placement of anode and waterproof plugs.
