V12 Power and Performance
The V12 was born to offer incredible power, able to move "restfully" even the heaviest 
boat! The largest production outboard in history features a naturally aspirated 7.6 liter 
displacement.At the same time, it has a 150A power alternator so you can enjoy all the 
comforts of the electrical devices on the boat without worry.

Two-speed automatic transmission
The new V12 VERADO features the outboard industry's first and only 2-speed automatic 
transmission. The transmission of 600 hp is ensured effortlessly, with a total transmission 
ratio of 2.50:1 in the propeller, giving abundant torque, both in planing and in waves. And 
all this, just before it automatically "clicks" into second gear smoothly and completely
silently.

Rotating reverser that moves independently
The first electrically controlled rotating reverse (steer-by-wire) is a fact. With fully integrated 
electro-hydraulic steering, no steering cylinders & pumps, and no tie rods. An innovation that 
allows the underwater part to rotate 30º and up to 45º in joystick applications,thus ensuring
more space on the transom, since the motor bodyremains stable.

Plenty of torque, even at medium revs
The head of the new V12 VERADO has 12 cylinders in a V arrangement, 64º with 4 
overhead camshafts and 4 valves per cylinder. With this incredible power, even the 
heaviest boats are easily lifted out of the water, as the engine provides plenty of torque,
even at medium speeds.

Extremely smooth and quiet operation
In the new V12 VERADO, the advanced AMS (advanced mid-section) mounting 
bracket, a trademark of the VERADO L6 & V8, is even more sophisticated, robust 
and quiet. The engine runs extremely smoothly, even in rough conditions, 
because power should be felt, not heard.
